Gli arbalète artigianali in legno della Giman sub sono realizzati in numero limitato per garantirne le qualità costruttive, la prima scelta dei materiali, l’attenta e maniacale realizzazione e collaudo di ogni pezzo.
Già nel 2005 i modelli Labrax e Dentex sono stati arricchiti della splendida impugnatura con performazione destra o sinistra.

L’impugnatura è realizzata in monoblocco ed è innestata tramite un laborioso ed efficacissimo incastro (protetto da brevetto) di altissima precisione.

Il collo dell’impugnatura è molto alto rispetto all’asse longitudinale del fusto in modo da assorbire in maniera corretta il rinculo provocato dallo sparo. Anche la piega dell’impugnatura è studiata per dare al polso e conseguentemente al braccio una comoda e istintiva postura. Quando si impugna il fucile si avverte subito una sensazione di comfort grazie innanzitutto a un volume ben dimensionato e ad una performazione molto naturale. Tutte le dita prendono automaticamente il loro posto e il palmo si appoggia sulle curve modellate della sagomatura, le quali anche essendo di legno duro danno una sensazione di morbidezza e si adattano in maniera naturale alla forma della mano. Inoltre, sul lato dove serra il palmo è stata realizzata una lavorazione antiscivolo che ben si grippa sul guanto.

Per tutti questi motivi, si riesce a prendere subito e agevolmente una linea di puntamento corretta anche impugnando il fucile in maniera repentina e magari in posizione di sparo non del tutto comoda.

Sull’estremità superiore si può notare un appoggio ben dimensionato per il caricamento, rivestito con una spessa gomma che evita che l’arma scivoli sulla muta in fase di armamento.

Sotto l’impugnatura, trovano posto alcune piastre in acciaio inox che impacchettano una ulteriore lastrina in gomma. Esse hanno il compito di equilibrare l’arbalete nell’assetto posteriore, visto che quello anteriore può essere equilibrato dalle piastrine in acciaio inserite nell’apposita fresatura posta sotto ed anteriormente al fusto. Naturalmente, la performazione dell’impugnatura viene realizzata destra o sinistra in base alle necessità del cliente, che può personalizzare anche le dimensioni della stessa dando indicazioni sulla grandezza della propria mano.




The Giman sub handle




From 2005, the Labrax and Dentex arbaletes have been made with a beautiful left-right handle.
The handle is made out of a single piece of wood, mainly padouk, and is joined to the body of the gun by means of a complex and perfect joint.
The handle is joined to the body at a higher position with respect to the longitudinal axis. In this way recoiling can be better managed.
The handle itself has been designed in order to give the wrist and the arm a comfortable and instinctive grip. Each finger has its own place on the handle and the palm is hosted on modelled curves, which, despite their being made of hard wood, feel like something soft and adapt themselves to the curves of the hand. Furthermore, a non-slip carving allows a safe grip.
For all these reasons, it is easy to aim correctly even when you have to aim very quickly and in uncomfortable positions.
On the upper part of the handle, a piece of rubber has been added, in order to facilitate the loading phase and to avoid the gun to slip on the wetsuit.
In the Dentex models, there are steel plates under the handle. They are used to balance the back of the gun; the front of the gun can be balanced through the plates located under the barrel.
The handle can be made both for left- and right-handed people, and upon request its dimension can be varied according to the customer's hand size
